They
said it really loud, they said it on the air on the radio whaooooh, on the
radio whaooooh, on the radio whaooooh . . . well obviously I could go on
and on, but the lovely and talented Ms.
Donna Summer said it for mehearing something on the radio
makes it real: a lot of power there.
Back in 1996 (remember last century?) WJHU, now WYPR, started an essay series called Baltimore Voices that aired at 6:30 during Evening Edition. Producer Lisa Morgan groomed a bevy of 12 or so writers, training them not to spit on the mic and other such skills, who offered everything from political commentary to comedic stories. It was a very exciting five minutes every now and then for each of us who got to say it really loud, say it on the air on the radio Whaooooh. |
